Level Reference is a Dynamo script that allows you to assign the closest level and proper offset from this level for the vast majority of MEP categories, thus assigning the proper geographic elevation of elements.
The main issue raised here is happening when you try to do your QTO per level for pipes or ducts created on the ground floor, by section, and all the way until the roof, the first segment drives the default level assignment. It is also true for non-hosted elements.
In order to download script, follow the download link above. Then right-click on “BIM1_Level_Reference.dyn” – “Save link as…”.
Workflow:
- Run the script! This script has no interface and is a one-step process.
