Delete unused view templates is a Dynamo script that allows you to remove unused view templates. You will be able to select the ones you want to remove.

Countless view templates, up to a point where it is hard to tell what is what. That’s where Dynamo comes to the rescue.

In order to download script, follow the download link above. Then right-click on “BIM1_DeleteUnusedViewTemplates.dyn” – “Save link as…”.

Note:
Revit API, through Dynamo, does not allow the script to process 3D view templates.

Workflow:

  1. Select the view templates you want to remove.
  2. A window dialog will report the elements processed.
